It’s your security. Take the time to get it right.

Should my recovery phrase come in the box?+

No. You generate your own phrase during setup, directly on your Ledger device. If a card or note with words is already included, do not use those words or the device. Contact official Ledger Support.

Where should I download Ledger Live?+

Only download from ledger.com/ledger-live. Be cautious of search ads, unofficial app stores, and links sent in messages.

What if I lose my Ledger device?+

Your crypto is secured by your recovery phrase, not by the device itself. With your phrase kept private and safe, you can restore access using a replacement device. Never disclose the phrase to anyone.

Can Ledger Support help restore my wallet?+

Support can guide you through troubleshooting, but will never need your PIN or recovery phrase. Anyone asking for either is not legitimate support.
